There was a girl and a guy riding on a motorcycle:

Girl: Slow down im scared.
Boy: No. It's Fun.
Girl: No it's not, it's scary.
Boy: Then tell me you Love me.
Girl: Fine. I Love you.
Boy: Hold be Tight and you'll be Fine. *She Hugs Him*
Boy: Can you tkae my Helmet off and put it on yourself?
Girl: Ok. Now will you slow down?
Boy: I Love you more then Anything.
Girl: I Love you too but Please slow down.
Boy: I can't.

(In the news the next day)

A motorcycle has crashed into a building because of a brake failure. Two were on it but only one survived. The Truth is, midway down the road, he realized that his brakes went out but he didnt want her to panic. Instead, he told her that he Loved her and felt her embrace one last time. Then he had her wear his helmet so that she would survive even though it meant he would die.

So today i recieved a Text message from one of my close friends that read:

"Bruh just thinking about the past and how we met and been cool u r a good example of a friend bruh I know ur not perfect but i wanna live like u man real talk... I have some life changes I wana make"

My reply was Thank you but dont be like me, be better then me. I am with you in whatever you decide and here to help in n e way i can. (I was going to put dont be like me, i still have struggles, etc but he mentioned in his text that he knows im not perfect so i didnt... Im Glad he KNOWS im not! Lol)

He told me i havent changed in years he's known me and that im still all about my Family and Friends...

Its Cool that he says that, what can be more important? Like really...

But Thanks Bruh for letting me know that... U might think i inspire you but you inspire me... Love you dude...

Worship

To worship in spirit and in truth means that everything in your life is centered around God and guided by him -- that your choices reflect him, that your actions are directed by him, and that you words are filtered through him.

"Just so happens?!"

So when I started my Blog I totally forgot to mention my first experience ever with the Church that I still attend to this day... Well almost a year and a half later here it is...

September 30, 2008 (Tuesday Bible Study)

My first time at the Church, of which i was trying to find a Church anyway so i was open to try any church... It "just so happens" that Bishop that day was preaching about putting a demand on what you expect God to do for you because we are his children and he has promised us great things and God will never forsake his promises. Basically in a nut shell it was tell God what you expect and what you want...

At the time i just moved from Tampa back to Orlando and i was searching for a Job for about 2 months now. Even that day IN Church, Bishop asked if anyone that knew of jobs to go stand at the alter and people that didnt have/needed one to go stand behind someone that knew of jobs. (Of which i didnt go up, i felt too new, too timid, too embarassed) but it "just so happens" that he asks who needs jobs?

(Off subject) During the sermon Bishop stops in the middle of the Sermon and he along with the Church, starts to Pray for me... it was Awesome, i needed to be Prayed for...

N e way, moving along... after the Sermon i went home and i Prayed... "Jesus, i demand you (in a humble way of course) to get me a job... If it is your will Jesus someone will call me back...

VERY NEXT DAY October 1, 2008 around 2pm... The job that i am currently at now calls.. "Hello,... This is Jane Doe, i would like to offer you the job at ... and my response was... Yes i accept! Thank you so much!... Lol... i was super excited and in Awe.... Like is this Real?! could this really have happened the VERY next day? after i put a demand on God...

Now i have a job and getting my Masters... this "just so happens?!" No way... in my Book theres no such thing as Coincidences... Its just GOD working anonymously!

Harder than it Looks

Why is it so hard to not get mad or to not show frustration or to speak with tact when angered or to not be offensive when something is offends me?

I want to able to be clam when all things lead to this. Lord Help Me...

I wise man holds his tongue... Help me to HOLD mine...

So... i was at Bible study and Bishop said to turn to Genesis and i immediately looked in the index to find what page it started on... and then i realized, you idiot! GENESIS!

Numbers in the Bible

Three denotes divine perfection;

Seven denotes spiritual perfection;

My favorite number is 4.

It marks the followings of the revelation of God in the Trinity (The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit). God is known by the things that are seen. Hence the written revelation commences with the words, "In the beginning God CREATED." Creation is therefore the next thing—the fourth thing, and the number four always has reference to all that is created.

It is emphatically the number of Creation.

Four is the number of the great elements—earth, air, fire, and water.

Four are the regions of the earth—north, south, east, and west.

Four are the divisions of the day—morning, noon, evening, and midnight.

Four are the seasons of the year—spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Four dimensions contain all we can experience; length, width, height and time.

Four heads of animal creation: the lion, of wild beasts; the ox, of tame beasts; the eagle, of birds; and man the head of all.

Four kinds of Flesh—three are animals (beasts, birds, and fishes); while one is human (man).

My immediate family has my dad, my mom, my sister and me.

4 reminds me of family and 4 reminds me of Creation, which reminds me that God created Me.

Dr. Miles Monroe

Yesterday i went to a sermon by Dr. Miles Monroe and he spoke about Change.
(This word was so timely, only God sent it)

Well here are my exact notes that i took in my Blackberry... Hope you get something from it. Its easier to write what i jotted down rather than to try to explain what and how he said it.

Keys to thriving in times of crises and change... (these words come together)

What do you do with sudden change?

Problems/Crisis's are all temporary. Everything will change...

You make Life History by waiting it out. (History as your own History)

Best way to deal with Life is to accept Seasons. GOD promised to send Blessings in Seasons, so it cant always be Good all the time. He promised Blessings just as he promised struggles. We cant just want the Blessings without the struggles.

Monroe: "Greatest Blessing in Life is that its Seasonal."

Ecclesiastes 3: To EVERYTHING there is a Season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. (To EVERYTHING..... To EVERYTHING.... To EVERYTHING.... there is a Season)

1. Seasons guarentees Change.
2. Seasons give Hope.
3. Nothing remains the same.
4. Seasons are always Temporary.
5. Key to Life is Out Lasting the Season.
6. Seasons give the incentive to plan for the future.

Crisis/Hurricanes dont come to destroy you but to expose you. Is your Faith Only in Good things?! (Good question huh)

You can always tell when you lazy, when GOD sends you a crisis. Your thinking is lazy and your creativeness is gone.

A crisis will cancel experience. When it comes, it will cancel all that you know so you can come up with things you never thought of before.

Never respond Permanently to a Temporary problem.

Dont get use to Anything, if something is Alive it will Change.

Four Types of Change:
1. Changes to Us...
2. Changes around us...
3. Changes within Us... (Spiritually and Physically)
4. Changes we make happen.

Four Types of People:
1. Those who Watch things happen.
2. Those who Let things happen.
3. Those who Ask what happend.
3. Those who Make things happen.

Solution to Changes... Expect Change... What you expect will never surprise you, manipulate you, or control you... Create Change... Manage Change... run, excercise, you will not look sexy forever... Beneift from Change... Accept Change... Embrace Change...

In the Bible GOD already told you that there will be some rough times... So dont get offended or discrouaged when those times come...

GOD NEVER GETS WORST....

Whatever he takes from you was not the Best... What you lose was not a lost... it was a release.

You will always get Better, You go from GLORY to GLORY...

Only 2 Emotions

Write it down

So, i use to go to Church and see people with note pads and paper and pens taking notes like this was a a finals review in college. I use to think, dang they are serious with it, is it that imporant? I can remember all this without writing it down. But comes to show i now am also serious with it. Taking notes actually helps. I mean there is no way to retain and remember all that is said in one sermon. It also helps when you want to recall on something that was said. It also douments things. There so much to learn. So baiscally this post is to encourage you to take notes in Church...

After all this is the biggest and most important lecture that you could get! A Lecture straight out the BIBLE!

We hear this all the time, we see it all the time, we somtimes even repeat it, allll the time... But do we really practice it? Alot of people wonder how come they dont have everything they want, how come their not rich, successful, married, etc... Its all because we dont follow Matthew 6:33...

I was in Church yesterday and it just hit me... Ive prolly heard this verse more then 20 times but never really heard it...

Its so Simple that we over look it and take it for granted... I have to do better, I hope i can encourage you to do the same....

Spirit of.....

What do you have a sprit of....? You could have a spirit of jealousey, bitterness, and unforgiveness. These are the common ones these are the easy ones to point out .... Everyone at some point struggles with these spirits...

But how about the things that you dont think are bad? Like the spirit of guilt... How can guilt be a bad thing, isn't guilt when you feel bad for someone because you care for them? Not exactly, guilt is tricky, the devil is tricky... He can he make you feel bad for something that isn't your fault, he can keep you trapped in something that you dont want stay in becasue of guilt... Guilt can bring depression which leads to an unhealthy mind which leads to an unhealthy body which leads to other things...

Dont get it twisted though, guilt is correct when you do something you werent suppose to do and the outcome makes you feel guilty or if you could of done something but was too selfish to do... these are the right reasons of guilt BUT if you truly did do what you could of done and in good faith then you have nothing to feel guilty about...

This all comes down to guarding your heart and having the wisdom to distinguish between what is real and the fake... If someones kows they can pull the guilt trip on you to get what they want then they are taking advantage of you... Guard your heart...

The devil will use whatever you are most strong at and twist it around, for this case it would be... A caring spirit into a guilty spirit....

Make Time

How can you know GOD better? Read his word, pray, listen for his voice, worship him. Notice that all of these things require time. In fact, improving any relationship with other people or with GOD requires Time.

However, far too many people find themselves too busy to spend any time getting to know God better. They've filled their calendar with pursuits of money, wealth, success, and status. However, as Solomon discovers in Ecclesiastes 2:1-11, all of these pursuits are meaningless. Solomon built many houses, vineyards, gardens, and parks; he had many, many slaves and countless pieces of gold and silver, and he was the most prestigious man ever to live in Jerusalem. Indeed, he could buy anything his heart desired. However, Solomon comes to the realization that all of these things are worth nothing in the perspective of eternity: Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind; nothing was gained under the sun (Ecclesiastes 2:11).

Therefore, don't worry about any of these earthly things; instead, seek to know God better (see Matthew 6:25-34).

If all these earthly things are hindering your relationship with God, alter your schedule: get rid of some things so that you can spend time knowing God better.

A letter was sent for my mom from some church that she doesnt even attend, it wasnt real mail so i opened and read it and it had this in it and i felt like it could help someone including myself when things arent going the way we want them to go... Stay strong, the end will be worth it!

GOD does not accept His servants to demonstrate a weak mind, with an intent to fail, and to be fearful of hard work. Danger and hardship are a part of life for those who follow GOD's way. Those who think that by following GOD, He will make the road easy, He will trim all the thorns, He will run the enemy away, they will be sadly mistaken. Those who dream that by following GOD they will inherit many benefits such as luxury and leisure in life, always have servants and receive respect, they are also wrong. We are told to "go out into the world like sheep among wolves" - Matthew 10:16
